Custom Supplied items & Carry in engraving

Even if you bought your gift elsewhere, bring your item to one of our stores and we will be happy to engrave it for you. Engraved memories last a life time. There is a $15 setup charge to engrave most items not purchased in our store. Plus the cost of engraving ($0.50 per character for engraving). Additional carry in engraving services for oddly shaped items may be more than $15. Please contact us for a quote. Commonly engraved items that will incur additional set-up fees are:

• Ring Signet – $25.00 set up charge + $.50 per character
• Watches and Pocket Watches – $20.00 set up charge + $.50 per character
• Technical Devices – $20.00 set up charge + $1.00 per character
• We do engrave family heirlooms, antiques, or irreplaceable items of any value. But the customer must sign a waiver that any risk taken in engraving the item, must be borne by the customer. Click here to go to detailed pricing guide

Glassware

Glassware is our speciality and the cost to etch glass purchased elsewhere is a $15.00 set up charge plus the cost of engraving at $5.00 per piece. The engraving is unlimited and the customer can have unlimited text and a graphic included. Quantity pricing for glassware ensues after 2 pieces. For flat glass see our wood pricing.

Example: Pair of wine goblets purchased elsewhere and brought into one of our shops for engraving.

• -One time set up charge at $15.00
• -2 x per piece engraving at $5.00 per glass
• -Engraving includes as much text and a graphic on one side of each glass.
• -Total $25 + taxes.

Example: 75 Beer Mugs purchased elsewhere and brought into one of our shops for engraving.

• -One time set up charge at $15
• -75 x per piece engraving at $3.50 per beer mug.
• -Engraving includes as much text as you want including a stock graphic or logo on one side.
• Total $277.50

Wood

We also specialize in custom wood engraving and cutting. Customers can bring in their own pieces and we will custom engrave any design or text into your wood. The cost to set up the job remains at $15. The per piece pricing depends on the size of the piece to be engraved or cut. The maximum size we can accept is 24″ x 18″. What is engraving “set-up”?

This the time it takes to assess the piece, and then to mount the piece into the clamping device to hold it securely while engraving; measuring the piece and then placing the customer’s requirements within those measurements, then making test graves to ensure the work is centred and appealing to the eye, and then the actual engraving of the piece. This last procedure may take up to 10 actual engravings in order to maximize the depth depending on the material engraved. It usually takes between 30 & 40 minutes for this procedure.
