Laser engraving works extremely well with all types of wood. From local Western Maple & Alder to exotic hardwoods. Each wood displays a different quality when engraved. While a Western Maple may give you a nice chocolate brown engraving, Cherry wood will give you a very rich dark contrast. No tool touches the wood as discussed on the laser engraving page. The marking is done using a very powerful beam of light 3/1000 of an inch wide.
Below are samples of wood we have engraved for our customers. Pricing varies and depends on the artwork and size of the project. Minimum charge is a $20 set-up plus $1 per minute to engrave the piece.
